The economy is in the toilet. Thank you Mr. Bush and the Republican party.

There are more people being laid off every day. Circuit City just announced they're closing about 150 stores and that will put about 3,000 more people looking for jobs.

Perhaps you have job skills that are not marketable? Depends on your training, schooling and/or experience. Now is NOT the time for an auto worker to look for a job. The big 3 auto makers are practically bankrupt. Same with the banking business.

Probably is a variety of reasons.
