I am 14. Am i legal to work with a working permit?

if so, how or where can i get a working permit?
i'm 14 and is from houston, texas.

Between the ages of 14 to 15 you need the workers permit which you can get the form from your school guidance counselor. Your parents sign and you return to counselor and you should receive your worker's permit within a few short weeks. Once you reach 16 you can tear it up and is no longer required. Good Luck at your first job!

14 is the legal working age in Texas....

i dont think u can get a working permit yet so any job you do would be paying you under the table (without benifits or deductions) also you can only start at a specific time and end work at specific time. you cant work during school days. and you are not eligible for min. wage so people can pay whatever they want for your labor. i found it hard to get a job at 14 so instead i did craft stands at the local market and voulunteered at a place where later on i was able to work at because they already knew how i could work.
