I have applied to various places and no one has hired me I think it might be because I am 17 and have never had a job. If anyone knows anyone who is hiring or anywhere where I might apply please let me know. Oh yes and please in the LA region or 20 miles or so.

i'm 17 and i just got my first job a few months ago without any work-experience.
I would recommend applying to at least 5 different places, such as fast food restaurants because they are always in high-demand for employees.
I impressed the manager because I asked for him to give me an application then I sat down in the restaurant at a table- and filled it out- then gave it back to him.
He said come in for an interview after I handed him the application, and I was hired there in about a week. |

First jobs for most people are retail stores (try malls) or fast food. You might have to apply at lots of places before you get hired, since there are lots of people looking for those jobs.
