Finding a job with a felony is challenging, you may be able to find some freelance work, or work as an independent contractor with companies online.
You might do better starting your own business of some sort. It could be online or off line. You can sell products, or services. As long as the service does not require you going into people;s, b/c sometimes that requires bonding with a background check for the proper papers.
People will pay for anything that they don't know how to do, or are don't have time to learn.(Ex, professional dog pooper scooper's are charging upwards of $25 dollars plus $1 a minute to pick up poop on call) Get creative - people will pay for things tinconveniencesnces them -
You can write about problems you face as a felon in a and earn income by offering solutions -
You can earn commissions with affiliate products, adsense, and even write an ebook that talks about how you became successfully with a felony and found how to support yourself

Ohio doesn't allow people with felonies to get jobs. You have to find a place that doesn't do a background check. Even temp agencies are doing background checks now. |
