I feel like I did it all for nothing can anyone point me in the right direction for a Law Enforcement Career?

I know right now is not the greatest time to be looking for a state or federally funded position but seriously why did I do everything I was told to stand out better in the line of applicants..
Currently I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice Graduated with a 3.53 GPA and I just honorably separated from the USAF As a Security Forces Member (aka Military Cop)...
Now with that background I should have no problem but it just seems like I do
On the a side not I am a white male and I know that is against me call me a racist if you want but it's the truth
Anyone have any suggestions as right now I feel hopeless in finding a career matching my experience and I really don't want to start out at square one and change career paths as eventually I would like to practice law (already took the LSAT once and preparing to take it again as I scored not so well)
Thanks To All Who Answer

You don't say where you live, but you might have to relocate. California is a good place to try. Your experience sounds good but it's a good idea to try and improve your LSAT score. I was a reserve (volunteer) police office in my city for 3 years. On of the other reserves that went through the classes with me is now the Chief of Police. So try to find a city with a volunteer program. It's can be a good way in. Try Federal Parks Service. They have many armed officers. In the meantime, try to find a good private security firm to work for. They should gladly hire you. It's income and you can keep looking for a sworn position.
