It was my first offense, I did 2 days in jail and got a year of probation, is there anyway i can get that expunged if im about to turn 19?
it wasnt a serious felony, just evading arrest in a motor vehicle, they said it was the lowest there is
anyway i've been doing good for 2 years, i got off probation early, enlisted in the army as an MP, just wondering if theres any way i can be a police officer as a civilian or if im screwed

i didn't even know you could enlist in the army with a felony... i think if you're able to join the army, you'd be able to become a police officer. They must have done a background check on you by now and not thought your felony was a big deal |

most of the time your record clears when you turn 18.. unless its a major charge, i think you should be okay. go to the police department of the court house and ask for your criminal record then you will know for sure. |

Look into some police acadmies and what not and then ask the recruiters about it. You should be fine at least i would think. Since you were a minor and everything. |

your juvinial record is sealed, anything under 18 is like it didn't happen unless you were tried as an adult |

the charges always go away when you turn 18....when i got a felony when i was 15 for mary j, and breaking and entering a motor vehicle they wiped away my record at 18 so know i have no crimes that you can tell...and you should be able to become a cop as long as you don't commit any more crimes
