I got job offer letter from Coppen Oil and Gas from UK of GBP11500(Pounds)?

99% sure it is fraud. There are so many job offers that are simply scams to get money out of you

Let me guess a few things

(a) You received the job offer by Email
(b) The Email account used by the contact is a free Email account (e.g. yahoo, gmail, live, yahoo, myway etcetc)
(c) You have to pay an astronomical amount of money for a visa which is "non-refundable
(d) You have to pay by wiring money via Moneygram or Western Union (as there is no recourse with this method)

If I have got any or all of those things right then you can be sure it is a scam

You send the money and then they come back to you (either for more money until you can send no more) that your application was declined and that the fee is non-refundable as it was for processing fees, and you can kiss goodbye to both your money and the job offer

I have never heard of this company and the website doesn't give me confidence that it is a legit company, otherwise why are they not listed in the UK Yellow Pages?

Also why when you search the address they give does this come up as a campus accomodation for students at the Westminster Uni. No reputable company would locate itself in a student room!

So now ask yourself if this is something you should pursue? Personally I would avoid it with a very long barge pole!

This offer is 100% fake and fraud! Be careful! If you will analyze the format of their letters and offer you will find there is a similarity in other people doing such a foolish activity like this.i had received the same offer and from the beginning its easy to verify wether this is true or not. Coppen Oil and Gas will not ask any money from which it is a clear vision of business thru cheating. In any company,money never gets involved besides this company should be the one to provide support or assitance in hiring their employees or staff.

PEOPLE DOING THIS WILL DEFINITELY FIND NO MERCY FROM GOD ALMIGHTY.

I also recd. a similar job offer from Coppen Oil & Gas, Regents Street, London. I'm also in the process of verifying the authenticity of the company. Their web site http://coppenoil.com/index-2.html is not well maintained and has many broken links which leads me to doubt their reputation and authenticity. However, my follow-up with the UK immigartion deptt. (info@immigration-govs.com) tells me that the company is genuine.

I also got the mail from one of leading oil company of Uk. They sent also appointment letter to me and suggest immediately mail in UK immigration Department for work permit. They also tell me to send my pasport scanned copy there. Is it fake company or realy I should applied there. Arvind
