Not to burst your bubble, you do realize that we are in a crappy economy right now and with high unemployment. If you have any aspirations as a lawyer, most likely not good since the field is saturated. I have read that due to the high unemployment that many employers out there are paying much less than they were paying 2 years ago. Whereas if the average salary even with experience in a particular field was $50,000, they are now paying only $40,000 and are getting plenty of people in line ready to take it.

Your problem is that you have degrees from 2 prestigious universities that maybe scaring off too many employers. You might not have a chance once your resume is received and they see this and think you would not consider them due to being overqualified or have higher expectations of income. Also since you have been going to school and not working could also be a factor going against you. My husband who retired after practicing as a lawyer for over 40 years, worked full time and went to school at night to get his law degree. It still took him 3 years to get his JD but having that job most likely gave him a heads up when he applied for his 1st job in a law firm.

You are competing with people who have average degrees out there unemployed who have prior experience working vs you only having your great degrees and no experience. You might want to do a google search for recruiters that specialize in high paying fields. I have seen them advertised, but don't know if there are any good or due to your lack of work experience would help.

As for your enormous student loans, here are links of where you might get some forgiveness or addtl time to pay them off. When my step-daughter got laid off, they forgave some and let her hold off payments for I believe 5 years.

I am 14 and I want to work to make some extra cash to get stuff i want because the rest of my family doesnt make a lot of money and I want to take the burden off of them to get me stuff buy buying my own stuff. Good luck with your search, and hopefully we will both be employed very soon =)

If you in fact have those credentials and are posting messages like this on Yahoo Answers, you may, indeed, not find a job.

Maybe you are setting your sights too high for this economy. Making minimum wage is better than making zero. Swallow some pride.

I find this hard to believe. What are you trying to do for a living? You can always get a job as a waiter.

Job seeking can be a hard task in itself, especially if you're not used to it. I was struggling with my job seeking for the last month until I discovered the site in the box below site which has some fantastic tips and tricks for job searchers. After following their helpful advice for a couple of weeks I secured myself a fantastic job.
