Vacations are part of your benefits package. That means that unless you belong to a union where those benefits are defined, or you have an employment contract, or where something is mandated by the government, the benefits provided by an employer are at their discretion. An employer can give employees packages that increase over time (i.e. someone who's been with the company 1 year might get 2 weeks, 5 years = 3 weeks, etc.). At 10 years and 1 week, that simply means your employer gives you very bad benefits (at least in terms of vacation). If your other benefits are also bad (poor insurance, poor 401K benefits, etc.) perhaps you should assess what your skills are, work to improve them and make yourself more marketable, and seek a new job.

Seems to me, you should at least be getting 2-3 weeks. I also have been on my job for 10 years and I get 3 weeks of vacation time. Talk with your boss and see what he/she has to say about it. I think you are being treated unfairly.

if union then according to the contract whatever that calls for. non union employer not bound by law to give any vacations. you could take it to arbitration through labor relations board and they will see what most other employers in the same or like business offer and go by that. usually if an employer is of good faith he will honor that decision.

It depends on the company's policy. However, in most places, an employee who has been in continuous employment for 10 years usually gets about 4 weeks' or, at the very least, 3 weeks' paid vacation

If your employee handbook says 1 week then that's it. However, most employers give employees with 10+ plus 2 to 3 weeks. If you work in the public sector (i.e. city, school, etc), then it could be a lot more. I work for a city and get 5 weeks of vacation (and I have worked there for 11 years).

There is no law that sets vacation policy for anyone. Does your company have a published employee's hand book that sets out corporate policies such as vacation leave, PTO (personal time off), and medical leave? That is where you should look for your answer.

More then that

Minimum of 2 weeks with 5 personal days(to be taken for illness, etc), however its not a federal law nor state law with employers to allow for a certain amount of time for vacation that you can seek any legal recourse.
