I was trained for 3.5 months and I left the job but they did not pay me for the last month. After that I took up a job on contract basis and left after 3 weeks but they are refusing to pay me. I did not sign any contract but they agreed to hire me for 1 year. What to do?

Well I would say you need to look at your work ethic.
About this specific issue-just because you didn't specifically sign anything doesn't mean much. Many companies hand out information like handbook and such which specify what happens if you leave. |

No company wants to invest money in training an employee only to have them leave after training. You can't just run around taking advantage of services and bailing out - but you should receive a check for time worked. Contact both employers and request your check - ask them to provide a reason in writing why they are refusing payment. |
