look for a similar position elsewhere. It is never easy to go back to something, best to move forwards.

You make it sound as if they have said they will take you back once your paper work is through and you are worried because you have heard nothing.

If the paperwork you are waiting for is a CRB check they are taking 6-8 weeks at the minute.

As long as they haven't said no youwill just have to be patient.

I regret leaving my old job as well, but you are best to move on as it wuold rarely be the same going back

I once left a job and went back and could never get a promotion - your never taken seriously and they will also be doubting where your loyalty to the company lies.

Move on - look for something else and if you are often the job and in a bind take it but be aware that you probably won't move any further in the company - so use it as a stop gap for bigger and better Be Bold and Brave

I did exactly the same thing I made a very bad move that messed up what I started My was very successful in my first job but I'm hesitating to contact them, I decided to change the field that doesn't require a training in a school, if it doesn't work I will go to the similar position but with another ( better) company

Never, ever go back to an old job. I have seen people do it and I have NEVER seen it work well.

What changes did you make toward a new career? Maybe with more info, I can help you continue toward a new career. You've managed to come to a certain point and now you fear something. Don't look back, is what I say. Continue till you've met your goal.

Give them 2 weeks more, and then call them to find out the status. Maybe they decided not to hire you which you will get in a letter form, but at least you know and can go hit agencies for other opportunities that matches what you did.
