Find answers to your legal question.

I need a good excuse to take off 3 months of personal time.?

Saying something legal would be best.

Your cat is having a bad pregnancy in the last trimester.

My thoughts
How about the truth? Why DO you need time off?

If you have a stressful life and need to regroup, say so. Simply saying you feel like a 3 month holiday makes you appear uncommitted and unreliable.

I would claim temporary insanity. Have your local shrink give you an evaluation, and most likely tell the shrink you have anxiety really bad that you can't work, the walls are closing in on you and you can't think or breathe and your going to pass out. And actually pass out at work, and walla.

Find a crime that the sentence is three months then commit it.
