i am doing a mock trial in my government class and i got the lawyer part what are some good ways to object.

I don't regularly watch the two specific shows so I'm not 100% sure. But I think Law and Order, and NCIS. Both on USA have alot of court room scenes with objections, and technical legal terms. It'll give you a good feel for how all that works as I *think* every episode has parts that take place in court.
Badgering the witness - The other lawyer is being OVERLY aggresive with the witness trying to get an answer.
Leading the witness - The other lawyer is leading the witness to an answer that benefits them. For example, "If XYZ *had* occured you would have wanted to kill them wouldn't you?"
Testifying for the witness - The other lawyer asks a question, then pretty much answers it for the witness with another question.
Again, I'm no lawyer this is just my interpretion of what I've seen on TV i'm sure you can look up those terms and get the real definition but those are the objections I see most often in film and TV.
You can also object to the opposing lawyer allowing the witness to speculate on certain things. "I think he killed Matt becuase he was the one that robbed the safe" things like that.
