i recently got a job offer form kmart the retail store, the only problsm is that its far form my house but its close to my school where i got at
is it possible can i transfer to the one close to my house or do i have to wait

That's up to Kmart, your store manager. If you just started and haven't passed your probationary period it's likely they will not let you transfer. You could talk to your manager and inquire about how long you have to work at that location before you could transfer to the one closer to your home, but be careful to not imply that you can't get to work because it is to far for you, or they might just let you go since you are still on probation. |

Transfer? You haven't even started work! No you can't transfer. You can apply to the one near where you live, and see if they need people. Or accept the other job, and after working there a year or so ask if you can transfer - they don't have to say yes, though. Usually the only people who would be transferred would be management people. |
