I recieved a traffic ticket last year for no license, no insurance and speeding in a different county than where I lived, and I never got around to go to the court hearing, just recently I moved to this other county and went to the courthouse to get this fixed, well my warrant was quashed, but as I spoke with the prosecuter, she advised me to get counsel because she was seeking jail time, I am totally freaking out, I have had enough run ins with the law....I can't sleep and I really need some advice, Im nervous...anxious...dont know what to do...help..

If you can't afford a lawyer you can get a public defender, but you better do something. If you don't have a bad record you might not get any jail time. "Seeking jail time" doesn't necessarily mean it will happen. If you have a job or children they always take that into account.
You should not let these things go.They always catch up with you. |

Sounds like getting an attorney to represent you, and try to get you out of this with just a fine and maybe community service or a suspended sentence rather than jail time. |
