No you cant your already claiming your injured your getting money from the job you "cant" work. You cant claim unemployment if you cant work, and you cant work if your getting workscomp. |

To collect unemployment you must be ready, willing and ABLE to work.
If you are collecting Workers Comp you are not ABLE to work.

no... workman's comp is payment for you not working,, but still have your job... you are not unemployed, you have a job... eventually you will have to go back to work...
if you get unemployment, the job you worked at has to pay that,, and if you are collecting workmans comp.. the workmans comp will make you pay back everything they paid to your, lawyers, doctors, etc..... |

I believe that you can only collect one or the other, but as I understand it, Workman's comp. may last much longer then unemployment. I believe that depending on the states' regulations, unemploment can be collected for as little as 8-10 weeks. Where are Workman's comp. can be granted until the person is declared fit to work, or permanently disabled. |

why don't you just ask the unemployment office...just be truthful....you never know, rules change....probably no, though...but since you aren't working, you have time on your hands so ask the authorities |
