I am guaranteed pay for a minimum of 40 hours per week. During Christmas week I only worked for 28 hours. My company made up my pay with the pay for Dec 25 and Dec 28 (8 hours each day). On my payslip they show 32 hours. Is this legal?

Yes its legal. You still got paid 40 hours. You worked 28, they added what appears to be the difference of 4 hours to get you to 32, plus you got 8 hours holiday pay. There is no law that says you get your holiday pay of 8 hours over and above a "worked" 40 hour week. And, you state you're guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week pay. You got that. |

There should be a separate line on your stub, or separate check stub, reflecting those hours. Any wages you receive should be documented on your end for your tax purposes and on their end for correct accounting and invoicing reasons.
I'd ask them - they may just have forgotten to give it to you and/or print one, especially since it was something they offered you instead of you actually earning by working. |
