I never received my w-2's from my employer. I brought this to there attention and was told to contact HR...?

I did and had to fax a request for another one to be sent to me. I was told that it would take 5 business days it's almost been 2 weeks. I don't think Faxing another request would really help since *Apparently* the first two have been lost? What should I do now? Contact the IRS?

Sounds reasonable to call the IRS, and let them light a fire under your employer.

If you have pay stubs which will give you the information you need to file your taxes. However you should mention that you didn't receive your W-2s. Companies are required by law to get the W-2's out by a certain date each year - that date has passed and the company is now in violation of the law.

You could alert your employer that you have STILL not received it and time is ticking away and that maybe the IRS needs to get involved. Once you even mention the IRS they will have it to you in 24 hours.

Guaranteed.
