I was having trouble at a job because of medical reasons, i had only been there 2 or 3 months when i had to get some time off. they let me have 2 weeks off, but when the doc said i needed more time off, they let me go. What are my unemployment options? I've been looking for work but haven't found anything that would suit me yet. Isn't there some kind of unemployement pay if your looking for work, kuz i can barely make rent.

you can probably become a spammed like the first guy that responded to your post,but don't think you will make any money at it. Best thing to do is just keep turning in applications to any place that is hiring.
You can even check and submit your resume to all the major job boards like monster.com,career builder.com,findajobinyourstate.com.Just keep at it! It took me 2 months of searching before i got hired. Good luck,hopefully Obama and his team will make things better soon! |

You have two options - go to the unemployment office and they can either help you find a job, or you can apply for unemployment benefits. Or you can go to the Social Security Administration and apply for disability benefits (if you couldn't keep a job because of medical reasons). Unfortunately both processes are long and tedious. Hope it works out for you. |

Unless you worked somewhere else before that place, you aren't eligible for unemployment comp after working only 2 or 3 months. And since they let you go because you were not available for work due to the medical issues, you might not be eligible anyway for unemployment. |
