I am into criminal justice, and I want to major in computer forensics. The problem is that my grades are A's B's C's and so far just 1 F how can I still get this career though i might not have the grades right now?

I used to get poor grades and now I'm almost finished two degrees :) It isn't what you get for grades now, so much. If you want to work in criminal justice, study in areas which relate to it - ie english, social studies, IT, science. Get the best grades you can now and then start worrying about getting your degree.
In college you can always change programs if you don't get into the course you want. |

Every employer is different in determining the qualifications for their position. However, having a degree alone will put you ahead of much of the competition. Grades somehow seem to fade into the background as they often check for other activities like extracurriculars, volunteer work, internships, group memberships etc...Good grades help but they are only a small piece of the puzzle in the long run. My advice is to become involved in a variety of different activites outside of school and you shouldnt have any problem once you get your degree. |
