I want a job related to policing, but not a police officer. any ideas?

i took police foundations, have volunteer work and currently work with dogs as a groomer. im possibly considering a career change (back to the policing field). does anyone have any advice on where to apply for jobs at the border (in customs), or maybe some sort of job at the airport. im open to any other ideas. i just decided from the time i was in school a couple of years ago that i wasn't interested in being a police officer, just interested in the field itself.

Border Patrol agents have the most freedom. You are alone most days..

try joining the police k-9 unit or customs k-9 unit of your local or national government. i'm sure your expertise with dogs will come in handy and the field is not that competitive.
