I want to resign from my new job...Am I doing the right move?

I'm a bank employee. I resigned from my first job which I've been with for 5yrs and transferred from another company thinking that it can give me the chance to have a better career & a higher compensation....but i guess everything turns out to be worst...I've been reporting with this new company for a month & I havent received my salary..... They are pressuring me to market accounts & loans make me believe that I'm responsible for it, yet what I have read in my appointment I'm just a loan assistant..I asked them for a copy of my job description and they can't give me one....I'm really getting stressed with all this fake thing and I really want to quit!

So search for a new one, get it and bounce on this one.

Don't quit one job until you can start another. Have a new one lined up!

Mister Bald
There must be more to it than what you told us. Just quit.

If you're not happy there then there's nothing wrong with quitting. You spend the large majority of your life at your job and it should be something that you enjoy doing.
If you are really unhappy and couldn't stand another day working there then quit straight away - but otherwise if you could stand to stick it out until you have the security of another job to go to that would probably be the most viable option - but if you've been working there a month and they haven't paid you that's serious - I would be going to a person higher up in the company and making them aware of what's going on.
Good luck with it all

There is no harm in learning the work of a Loan Officer while you are still a Loan Assistant. In fact, that is the right time. As for a job description, you ought to have insisted on and obtained one right before joining. Even now it is not too late. Be polte, but firm in getting to know your job dertails. But be keen to learn the basics of the next higher job in the line, so that when you do well what you now do , they can promote you without hesitation.

You need to review the specifics that were given to you at your initial offer. Report any wrong doing to the US department of labor or your local state agency. Document anything that you suspect is agains company policy or illegal.Sign on with a head hunter and monster.com and get a new job.

Good luck.

If you have received no documentation (contract of employment, job description) pertaining to your new job, you should contact Human Resources at the company's headquarters

Are you on a full commission? If not you deserve to be paid.

If you are not really like the job, take some time to learn it. It will make your skills more marketable.
