When asked a question in class my mind just goes blank...
Should i still study for it?
And how can i stop being shy?
As an alternative, are there any lawyer jobs in which i wouldn't have to publicly speak?

I do not care if my pay is reduced as a result of not attending court.

Lawyers for the most part spend very little time in court. Even when they are in court they are merely asking the judge something or answering a question. Most court sessions are routine and both parties know the outcome. Anyone can go to a court hearing as they are public for the most part, The only exception would be some mental health or juvenile hearings. |

There are other fields in law you can investigate that do not require pleading a case in court. My husband has been a paralegal for 30 years, makes a decent salary and works with some of the most brilliant legal minds in Los Angeles. |

There are many jobs for a lawyer that does not involve court, in fact most do not involve court. Tax, real estate, investment, corporate, and contract lawyer, just to name a few that came to mind.
Still study to be a lawyer. You will become less shy as you go through school and meet people of similar interest. |
