I was fired and went to my union and got my job back. Im being treated not so good now. what should i do?

I have never been late, written up or any verbal warnings. I had a family member that worked for the same company that left on bad terms. i was terminated initially due to work slowing down and there was concern that my brother was working for the compition. When my union rep called he was told it was because i was supposedly trying to get people to leave the company and go work elsewhere. I now have my job back and there is tension.

If their reasoning was work slowing down, it should have been a "Layoff due to lack of work" which would allow you to draw unemployment. They can't fire you for your family; there has to be cause (or at least the reason they put on your layoff papers).

If there is tension with management, talk about it with them. Don't hesitate to have your Steward with you in any meetings with management. If it's with other workers, that's much harder. I would hope that they would have the back of a fellow brother/sister (especially if you are in the right and the company is in the wrong).

Well, Maybe It's Because When Your Family Member Worked There.....Because They Left On A Bad Note.....They Knew He/She Was Related To You, And That Gave You A Bad Reputation.....This Could Be 1 Of Many Conclusions.
I Hope I Helped!

look at other jobs and meet the boss and employe and decide what you want to do

If you have a HR department, you may want to file a retaliation complaint. Sorry to hear about your problem, it can't be fun to be in a situation like that.

Speak with your boss to see if there is anything that can be done to ease the tension. If they aren't willing to do anything, go back to your union rep.
