Additional Details i am most definately going to fight for my unemployment, We have not even got paid for all the overtime we did. my job was shady

All employers are shady...They are crooks!! They only care about making money for themselves. If you do not submit to their authority, they will find any excuse to fire you...in fact, they don't need an excuse; they can terminate "without cause".
That's awesome that you're gonna stand up and fight these buggers. Try every legitimate legal avenue (ie unemployment insurance, employment standards branch of gov't) to find justice... and if that doesn't work, you may have to take matters into your own hands and find another way to stick it to the man.

Generally no. You were fired for cause and the employer will fight any attempt by you to claim unemployment. |

Employers are required to follow their own policies so if you were fired and they did not follow their own policies on discipline you have a shot at winning an unemployment case. You will most likely have to ask for a hearing but fight for it and good luck.

Yes you are entitled to UI benefits and as far as you being paid for the overtime get in touch with your local labor board they will make sure you get paid just have proof of OT hours. |
