I was at the end of my 6 mo probationary period. I felt I was doing a fantastic job. However, my supervisor turned me loose. I really feel it's because she just simply didn't like me. I got along very well with everyone except her. I've done everything she told me to do with diligence. Do I have some kind of recourse?
Additional Details
The job is with the city. Will this termination count against me if I want to apply for another position?

no recourse, and you can be let go for any reason including personality conflict(my boss doesn't like me) |

Most people feel that they were wrongfully terminated. Look for other employment. |

that is why it is a probationary period. they don't have to give you a reason for letting you go during that time period. maybe just using you to get some of the work load caught up.
as far as recourse is concerned....nope sorry |

No recource, that's why it a probationary period. Sorry it happened but there isn't much you can do about it. |

Unfortunately, you don't. Probationary periods are designed specifically to allow an employer to evaluate whether or not you are capable of doing the job AND whether or not you are a good fit for the company. Even if you feel you were doing a good job, if there is a personality conflict, the supervisor may feel that in the long run, you just aren't the best "fit". |
