If it is a required test then you should go ahead and take it. If it is required, then yes, they can fire you. You wouldn't have much of a lawsuit bc when you brought it against them they would make the others either take it as well or let them go too. So you would look like an idiot if you even tried. The best thing would be for you to go ahead and take it and get it over with. |

No lawsuit - the employer has a right to require the employee to test after hire (pre-hire tests are subject to different legalities.) Since this is a work-related test, they are well within their rights. |

No, there is nothing wrong with UPS wanting you to take a test as a job requirement, nor is there anything wrong with their firing you for refusing to do what the company requires. Unless you have a contract, which is unlikely, the company can fire and hire its employees at will. There is no guarantee that they must keep you in your job if they consider your work unsatisfactory or if they decide they no longer need you. If you belong to a union and the union has a contract with UPS, the company would have to follow the contract rules in firing you.
You should do what the company asks for you. There is no reason to sue the company if they let you go. |

First learn to write. That was a little confusing, but you need to just take the test. You can't file against them. They maybe giving you the test for promotion. |

If you agreed to the test during the hiring process or it is part of the job description. Whichever it is it is not worth fighting. You could collect unemployment if you get fired for failing the test.
My aunt was pregnant and UPS forced her to work where she had to lift all day, even after she brought a doctor's note. UPS said the not was not sufficient. So, my aunt kept working because she needed the money. She had a miscarriage and only got a few dollars.
Morral of the story; take the test and if you get fired, collect unemployment. A lawsuit is not worth it. |

if the test is a requirement then you have to take it. the rules could have changed since you were hired. good luck. |

I am a feeder driver at UPS and yes you should take the test. You sold yourself to the company when you put in your letter of intent. Hey, peeddon, why would a supe need work boots? Oh yeah, that's right! So you can do the hourly work you're not supposed to be doing. Stay out of the trailers and you can wear dress shoes to work. |
