It depends on what skills you gained from the job and why you were fired.
If it is your only valuable work experience, then its best to put it on.
If it doesn't add any skills or accomplishments that aren't already on your resume, then don't include it.
there are exceptions to that, if it gave you valuable skills, but you were fired for embezzlement, then NO don't put it on.
If it gave you valuable skills or mediocre skills and you were fired for say being late to work too many times, bc your car kept breaking down, and now you have it fixed/new car, then yes put it on.
If you were fired from McDonalds and your applying to be an Accountant, then no, I wouldn't include it.
Its hard to say without specific info on the job, why you were fired, your past work exp, and the position your applying for. |
