in Florida this is decided by company policy.
Florida does not mandate that any fringe benefits be paid and does not regulate companies policies concerning them.
Florida law is the same as Federal law on this subject. |

Apparently, the state of Florida does not require payment for accrued vacation, nor does federal law. sorry |

This must be your first job. There is no law you have to be given vacation time or even sick time for that matter. And definitely the place does not have to pay you while you are out on vacation. Considering your question I have to wonder if you are a trouble making employee. You need to be fired. |

If you have earned vacation, then they have to pay you for it.
It has nothing to do with giving notice or not. |
