If I hired a lawyer/attorney for my adult business how would he charge me?

Would it be by the day or by the hour? I have no idea about that, and not just and adult entertainment lawyer but any lawyer in general.

I'm not asking for a price range I'm just asking how I would be charged..

Lawyers typically charge 2 different ways.
1. per hour usually billed in 15 minute increments
2. monthly fee - you pay them a set number of dollars per month and they are available to provide you X number of hours per month of work. The rate per hour would be less than if you bought the hours "per hour" (maybe $150 instead of $250 or something like that). If you go under, you don't get anything back. If you go over, you typically will continue to get a reduced rate (based on this scenario $200 an hour - cheaper than the per hour amount but more than the monthly rate).
