|
To become a paralegal only an associate degree is required

A paralegal with an AA degree would become a lawyer by returning to college and getting her bachelor's degree. Then she would go to law school, graduate and pass the bar exam. There is no fast track because you're a paralegal. |

Paralegal is not a conventional stepping stone to becoming a lawyer. There are no "conversion classes". To gain entrance into law school you need to meet that law school's requirements (which is usually a bachelors degree or equivalent in a certain area like pre-law, political science, english, etc... in addition to passing the entry exam)
If you have an associates degree then you will need to transfer your credits to a university and get your bachelors degree. |

You'd get a bachelor's degree, then apply to law school, if the law school requires a bachelor's degree for admission. |

Warning! Jobs in the field of Law are drying up FAST!!! This is NOT a good field to invest in. Many reasons. Main reason? We simply have WAY TOO MANY Lawyers - we have a GLUT of Attorneys.
BUT the law schools won't tell you this - law students are easy money for them.
SUGGESTION: Consider the field of Healthcare! LOTS of jobs there! and scholarships! Even with your background - especially with your background.
Good luck. |

i think that you can take a conversion course, but this depends on your jurisdiction. |
