ok i used to work at old navy and i was terminated for violation of company policy but i wanted to know since gap owns old navy and bananna republic etc stores would gap store hire me since its a different store or i wouldnt get hired at either store?

many companies have a POLICY to not release information but there are absolutely NO LAWS that prevent an employer from giving a negative reference or from saying something bad about a former employee as long as they are truthful.

Dont really know if that would affect one of the other stores hiring you, but by law a comany that terminates a employee can not tell anyone who calls them, that you were terminated. I know this because I was terminated from my job and my old boss even told me that they could not do that. They cant give you a bad reference.

here is a trick- use old store you worked at then use a friends number have a friend pretend 2 be a ex-boss of yours -but say you quit the job dont put you were fired
