Don't disclose it on the application, but when you get called for an interview, don't lie about the truth. They may call to verify and if they find out you lied, you don't have any hope of getting the job.
If they do ask, explain why you were fired and if there was anything you would have done differently to avoid it. Good luck! |

I've never been terminated, but I've been involved in hiring and the fact that you were terminated really doesn't matter too much. If you have good skills and a good interview you can get the job. If they ask reason for leaving, indicate "not a good fit" or something like that. |

If you don't and they check back, you are caught lying. People hate liars on applications more than anything |

I know, I know!!!!

I work in HR at my company so I do alot of interviewing. The answer to your question is YES. The reason - because potential employers almost always check with your previous employers. They will ask questions such as the length of your employment, your skills, qualifications, and most definately the reason you left the job. Any employer will be much more likely to hire an honest person that was fired from a previous job instead of a person who's application looks good - but they didn't tell the whole truth.
You dont necessarily have to elaborate on the fact that you were fired unless you are specifically asked to do so. I recommend writing down something like "job ended" rather than "terminated or fired".
Good luck. |

There is no reason to disclose.
As silly as it may sound you shouls ask your former employer for a letter of recomendation. They very well may give it to you. |

you will usually get asked about your last job and how or why you left, and depending on the job they are likely to call and verify. |

No, but I do write that I will explain upon interview. |

no except if it was lay off. I have several jobs which i was fired from a couple i can get someone there to say i quit or was laid off a couple were nasty and involveded legal issues
leave them off stretching dates at other places to cover it. I think telluing truth in this case would prevent my employment
No worries i have been fired 4 times in 3yrs and still kicking
Btw former employers are limited legally what they can say bout you if in doubt have friend or family member check their references i do |

Don't. Just answer when asked |

Most previous employers will only verify your date of hire and when you left because they might be sued if they rate you. |
