This is assuming the person in both jobs doesn't receive benefits or anything similar.
Additional Details
I'm talking about if one had a part time job not found through the agency, but also worked for the agency.

It's not exactly breaking the law, but you do need to check your contract of employment to see if it forbids this. Some companies require that you don't have a second job, or will let you have one but require you to tell them about it, in case there are a conflict of interests.
Also, there are tax implications. A person's rate of tax is determined by how much they earn from ALL sources over the tax year. If you're open with your employer then they can ensure that you're stopped tax at the correct rate in the first place, saving you the need to pay the tax man a hefty sum when you complete your tax return. |

If you have a contract with the agency stating you will work for no one other then their firm, then you are breaking their rules. If you are talking about an agency such as Express Personnel, Kelly, Robert Half, Office Team I have signed up for all of them so when one has no jobs I can rely on the others to help me out. |
