You'll need to look this up. I KNOW that a criminal record would not necessarily bar you from becoming a lawyer so I don't see why it would bar you from becoming a doctor. I think a felony is a bar in all jurisdictions from PRACTICING law but not from attending law school.

There are many levels of criminal records. The level (misdemeanor vs felony) might affect the answer as would the remoteness of it (the summer before medical school or ten years before medical school. The nature of the offense as well as the way you've lived your life since then.

This only applies in the United States. Can you take the MCAT's? Absolutely. Will you be accepted into medical school. Highly unlikely, but possible depending on the severity of the crime. Will you then be licensed? Chances are extremely thin especially if there was an ethics issue. If the crime was drug related it is a definite No.
