the background check did not ask if ever arested-just have you ever been convivted???

Depends upon the type of warrant and how extensive of a background check... However, I would assume yes.

Depends what kind of background check they do. If they just do a credit check, probably not. If they do something more extensive, very likely. Never overestimate the intelligence of the people who make hiring decisions.

You DO want to deal with this one, though. Talk to a lawyer and turn yourself in. You don't want a traffic stop to turn into a federal case.
