Submit your claim to unemp & if they deny you ask for a telephonic hearing and bring up your harassment allegation. Did they ever written/ counsel you on your tardiness/missing work. In most states it's a requirement.

not likely. but individual cases are different and you should contact the local office.

You could apply, but if you were fired for missing too much work, your claim will most likely be denied.

In some states you can, but there will be a penalty. They may make you wait about a month before drawing it. All you can do is check with your Department of Labor and see.

you should be able to,
but i live in a socialist utopia called Oz
;-)

it's at least worth asking,
you don't get anything if you don't ask.

I been fired too. When I was finding my new job was too hard, everything starting from zero, included for my new job, I maked best but still not best. Let say plus your parent life, possible you can do something illegal.

You need to understand that is not your employers job to take care of your mother in law. They have no obligation to her. Generally if you were fired for cause, your employer will be contacted and your claim will be denied if they protest.

Maybe her son should step up to the plate, huh?
