Well you see not all receptionists wear their hair back.
To wear: Yes cute dresses skirts and jackets are always a good choice to wear but sometimes wear something simple and that's your style! Hair: Your choice down up bun pony tails anything you want! as long that its not TOO overboard! Acting: ALWAYS SMILE!!! you really want to be in a good mood and look your best everyday get your work done and act appropriate! Age: 16 would be an appropriate age! well have fun and good luck
---hoped i helped (:

No i doubt that any place would hire a 16 year old because there are alot of older more experiences people who would probably apply for the position. It doesn't hurt to try though. It depends if the place is casual or formal. If people are wearing suits then you would definitely need to wear the same style of clothes.

you should dress professionally, even though you're young, definitely nothing to exposed.

Be yourself, but still be disciplined and mature.
If you're not totally sure about what to wear, ask them!
But the waist high skirts which go slightly above the knee are great.
You'r hair can be pulled back if you wish, or it can be put down. Just make sure that it is neat.
Look very neat, and make sure that when you go for an interview, you are one they can rely on. One which can get the job done.
But if you're not utterly ready for all of this, then don't apply for it.
If you think you're ready, then show them (the interviewers) HOW you are ready, how mature you are, and that you can get the job done.

Good Luck, Hope you get the job.

Visit the place you want to work for (or several places) and see what they wear.

It will probably be something like "business casual."
