In California,a trial court may order the county treasurer t pay for defense counsel to employ legal ?

assistants,to ensure that an indigent criminal defendant is able to present an adequate defence at trial.To qualify,the defence counsel must show that

A.the relevant facts and law reasonably support the request.
B.the Constitution would be violated if the request isn't granted.
C.the prosecuter has employed paralegals,so the defence must do so. as well to keep up.

My answer is (A)
D.lawyers in other murder cases were granted funds for paralegales.
