In Missouri, can your employer fire you if they change your work schedule and you disagree with the change?

One has to follow the rules of the company. In Missouri, the employer is empowered to change the work schedule. If an employee does not obey this, employer can fire him.

I think that is most everywhere.

Right to work has to do with Unions. Missouri is an Employment At Will state, so yes, you can be terminated for any reason. A Company has the right to change work schedules at any time, and you have the right to not work them. However, if you choose not to work them you can be legallly terminated.

Absolutely.

Yes! The employer sets the work schedule. To keep a job, the employee must follow the schedule, whether he or she likes it or not.

I would hope so

I would think so, unless when you got the job under the agreement that you had set hours.

My mother works at a job that actually was going to fire her if she took off for my wedding day. She works at a college and it just so happened my wedding date was on parents weekend and nobody was allowed to take off.

We changed the date!
