If a Limited Liability Company has only one member / owner, is it legal to pay for freelancers contracted with the company from the company owner's personal bank account?

why would you do that? If you are going to run an LLC, you have to treat it like a business, have a business checking account and run all business expenses thru the business. you would have issues come accounting time trying to claim the deduction - where are you depositing receipts from sales? it should be going into the same account (business) that expenses are paid out of - you could wind up violating terms of the LLC. If there isn;t enough cash in teh business acct, pay the money into the company from your personal acct as a loan or investment and then use a company check to pay for services |
