Insurance companies in India send premium notices in ordinary mail or by courier or registered post.?

The insurance company has eaten my friend's father's death claim by saying that his premium was due and now the grace period is also over as his father was in hospital during that time. Though he did not receive any letter or call from insurance company. Now What to do? Please give suggestions if he can get the claim by going to consumer court or anything else. They have any responsiblity or not

It is the duty insurance send a notice when the premium over due,life insurance corporation of do send premium notice for my ex tenant to,my address even it is lapsed for more than four years since he is abroad. you quote this life insurance corporation case fight the case to consumer court restoring compensation for your insurance.

The insurance company is send you book post your address or throw Agent. yes you are doing a Consumer court suit file ?

you need to get hold of the agent and visit the insurance office and you will know how far the insurance premium is paid and what is the balance you can go and talk to highest officer about your complaint and still not heard you can go IRDA the regulatory authority who will sort out and take necessary action.

plz go to agent who has given you a policy.. or speak to claim recovery branch .. each & every insurance company have their recovery branch.. where you can post your complaints & definately they will take action against it.. you can reach them through thier toll free no. or through online or else through their local no.... Then also no one is their to help you out, then you can go to IRDA i.e. insurance regulatory and development authority of india. They have a power even to close down the company.... all the best.
