Is a forensics job hard on a person's psychology?

Dealing with crime scenes, and criminal's motivation, is that a job likely to result in a nervous breakdown on the person who is the forensics expert?

These people choose ther jobs and are highly trained and skilled individuals. They are usualy doctors first so they have years of training and have been exposed to death and dead people hundreds of times. They also have more access to mental health and counseling professionals than the normal person who works a desk job.

I would think it would depend on the person. For example, some people hate needles and freak out, while others don't particularly like them, but they can deal with them. I think it will depend on the mental stability and strength of a person. Realistically one has to understand that they will deal with horrible things, like small children, stench, abuse, things like that. I'm a very strong person, but dealing with small children, I could NOT do, it would be just way to much for me to handle. But some may look at that job as a means of finding justice, helping to find justice in a forensic way. I think CSI tv is glorified a somewhat and before a person gets into this field, they should really asses what makes them desire that field.
