i mean y is there a stereotype that people in those professions are genius's,,,i mean don't other profession have the same respect? people who are doctors treated as the best people existed in this whole world,,i know that they save peoples life and all but y are they more superior? all this makes me think that i am a good for nothing. can someone please clarify and tell y can't lectures and teaches be the same?

I can see your point because I know highly intelligent people that work at manual labor. I think that in these fields there is a very intensive educational requirement to fulfill before you can call yourself a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. Hence, the majority of people in these fields tend to be bright, but that doesn't mean there aren't people as intelligent, or even more intelligent, in other fields. Take for example a successful business owner. They obviously are quite intelligent and skilled at organization, management, interpersonal skills, and probably math. Now that person has never attained any of the degrees you speak of, but is highly intelligent in their own right. I think that measuring one's intelligence shouldn't be determined by the degree they have or the job they hold, but of how knowledgeable and creative they are. |

I guess it's because you have to go through years of education and your income is very high compared to an average person. But honestly I have the same repect for everyone. |

you do need to be inteligent to be a doctor or lawyer
just because your not one of the people who can be a doctor doesnt mean your nothing. |
