Okay for those of you who like to answer prematurely read it all first... the situation is as follows: You are hired at a job, you are hired in at 12hr you work, find out the job is NOT what it was drawn out to be so you would like to resign. Is it legal in GEORGIA (not interested in other states) to drop those hours worked, lets say 32 hours to a rate of $6.55 an hour? I have been trying to find that answer everywhere...

Can you tell me where you find that information? Not only have I never heard of it, I have lived and worked in GA only and it has never happened to me before, and I have quit jobs before.

Edit there is no law specifically other than you can not be paid less than minimum wage, this happens more than you can imagine, you have no recourse unless you have a contract |
