Salary & money are motivators! But honestly it shouldn't be the only reason i.e enthusiasm, new experiences, commitment, challenges etc
I would suggest you work for a law firm for a while to creating a strong working relationship with your employer (this will help you!!)
To also open you up to contacts/different experiences, which you can take with you, use it as a learning tool & use to suit you when you decide to work as a self-employed lawyer |

I am not a lawyer, but I have been in a lawyer's office a few times. If setting up private practice. attorney would have to purchase all applicable law books and employ staff. Of course his income would be greater but then so would his expense. In a law firm he recieves set fees and salary of employees is paid by firm. The firm owns the law books. |
