Sounds a little like "other than the shooting Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" Depending on the crime convicted of and the job applied for, being a felon is ruinous. Under the law in the US, it isn't illegal to reject an applicant because he is a felon unless for example, African American male felons were not hired, but white male felons were (assuming they were convicted of the same crimes). |
