Is it legal for a company to deduct missing days wages from a salaried job position? ?

I am payed bi-weekly as a salary, but the company doesn't offer 'payed' days off, or offer 'payed' days off for most holidays, or even offer sick leave. Is that legal here in the US? I work at an internet developing firm with a handful of employees.

There is no requirement for a company to give you paid time off - and if you take a day off when you were scheduled to work, no matter what the reason, of course they don't have to pay you. That would apply to holidays, sick days, or any other time off. They have to pay you for the time you work.

That said, companies typically do offer some paid time off, at least after you are there awhile, and also typically pay for holidays. But there is no law that says they have to.
