Is it legal for your employer to forge your signature of any paper or documents?

i was wondering if it was legal for any employer to forge your signature without your knowing to any paper or document that a state inspectors might look at.

and what information if any should be research before confronting your employer about the situation to help save your job and not get into a confrontation about this situation

Your company likely has policies against illegal behavior. Along with that, they may also have a hot line of some sort where you can report such behavior in fear of reprisal. If you only suspect, report it that way. If you are positive or you can become positive, then report it that way. It will be a very serious allegation.

Of course it is illegal.

I can't see how you can avoid a confrontation if it really happened. You should make damn sure you are correct, though, because such a false accusation will have serious consequences if you're wrong.

You might try something along the lines of: "I heard that the inspectors looked at a Form 123B that I signed. I don't recall that form, and seem to have lost my copy, could I see the file?"

Definitely illegal. If you know this for sure, I would ask to look at it and make sure that someone is aware that it is not your signature.
