I was recently fired from my last job because they forbid us from talking, and I was speaking to one of my co-workers, but my co-worker told me that it was okay at a minimum, so the owner just happen to be walking by when I was speaking, (I was still keeping up my productivity) but he terminated me....... is that legal to tell your employee's no talking? - Just wondered, I have never had these rules at any of my past jobs so any answers are appreciated! ?

If you were an "at will" employee, they can fire you for just about any reason they want. |

It is legal; Weird, but legal.
Unless you work in a union environment, but with that kind of rule I am guessing you are not. |
